Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

In many English-speaking countries, the Chief Executive Officer is the Managing Director of the company, the Chairman or Executive Director of the board of directors, or generally its sole authorized signatory, the Managing Director. Meanwhile, this title is also used in German-speaking countries, but is not associated with commercial or corporate law.
