E-commerce stands for “electronic commerce”. The term refers to all business transactions that take place via the Internet and is therefore also referred to as online or Internet commerce. This includes the retail trade, clothing stores, but also services of all kinds. E-commerce includes all processes in which purchases of any kind are transacted.
