Supervisory Board

The supervisory board is the body that acts as a supervisory body in corporations or organizations. In some legal entities – e.g. corporations or cooperatives – The appointment of a supervisory board is required by law for some legal forms. In other legal entities, such as limited liability companies or KGaAs, the appointment of the supervisory board may be governed in the articles of association or partnership agreement.
