Finances
The role of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) has changed significantly over the years. While the focus was previously on accounting, financial statements and liquidity management, CFOs now play a decisive role in the overall direction of the company and must have a corresponding understanding of developments within and outside the company.
Business Partner
CFOs advise all areas of the company on business management issues, evaluate the opportunities and risks of potential mergers or acquisitions and are responsible for investment decisions as well as debt and equity capital.
As strategic partners, CFOs play a key role in shaping the company’s business and financial strategy. The ability to understand and support strategic directions enables the ongoing and effective implementation of corporate goals.
