The Sales and Marketing Manager or CSO is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies. In addition, CSOs are responsible for key account management, business development, product management, and pricing.

The CSO contributes to the strategic development of the company’s direction. This responsibility not only includes managing the sales division, but also plays a key role in the overall corporate strategy.


Hardly any other function is subject to such rapid change as sales. Sales and Marketing managers are the link between companies and customers in a fast-moving world.

Chief Commercial or Chief Sales Officers must be able to take on a wider range of responsibilities and more complex tasks. In particular, the opportunities arising across all sectors in social media require leaders who are prepared to break new ground and question old business models or sales and marketing channels.
